Delivered through a small nose mask, nitrous creates a relaxed, “light” feeling within minutes. You remain awake and responsive, and it wears off quickly--ideal for shorter or simpler appointments.
A prescribed pill taken before treatment provides deeper relaxation. Many patients feel drowsy and remember little of the visit, while still able to respond. A driver is required.
Medication is administered through a small IV for the deepest, most adjustable sedation we offer--well-suited to surgical or longer procedures. Recovery takes several hours and you’ll need an escort.
